Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hermio Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junior avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Rodriguez misses with a body kick.
Junior is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rodriguez.
Junior tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Rodriguez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Junior uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rodriguez.
Rodriguez connects with a solid leg kick.
Rodriguez looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Junior lands a jab to the nose.

and Rodriguez counters with a flying knee. Nice.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rodriguez throws a chopping leg kick but Junior manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Junior fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rodriguez manages to avoid it.
Junior is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Junior fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hermio Junior seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rodriguez walks into a jab.
Rodriguez doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Rodriguez scores with a crisp jab that stopped Junior in his tracks.
Junior throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Junior drops Rodriguez with a huge uppercut! Rodriguez drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Junior is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
