The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Tenedos, right into the meat.
Cruz looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Cruz blocks a head kick by Tenedos.
Tenedos throws a head kick that misses.
Good leg kick by Tenedos there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Cruz fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Tenedos lands with a nice body kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Crunch! Tenedos slams his shin into Cruz's torso.
Tenedos throws a nice outside leg kick.

Tenedos lands a big head kick that sends Cruz tumbling to the mat! Tenedos takes a step backwards and waves Cruz back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Tenedos looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Tenedos backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Cruz's temple! It sends Cruz violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Tenedos celebrates and the doctors try to help Cruz!
