Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arnfinn Nesset (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Van Damme (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nesset comes into the arena with Mohamed's theme tune blaring out of the sound system. Damme comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Fight to Survive kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Van Damme told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Van Damme!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Anthony Taglia and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Nesset.
Nesset throws a jab but it's blocked by Damme.
Damme slips a jab from Nesset.
Damme lands a nice leg kick that just misses Nesset's sensitive parts.
Nesset throws a shot from downtown. Damme moves away and avoids it.
Damme scoring well with a low kick there.
Damme throws a nice outside leg kick.
Damme defending well as Nesset loads up on a big left hand.
Nesset ducks under a wild hook from Damme.
Nesset on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Damme. Damme obviously looking to wear him down.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Damme swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Nesset thows a leg kick but Damme checks it
letting Damme counter with a right hand.
Damme cracks the inside of Nesset's front leg.
Damme throws a head kick that misses.
Damme tries to move into range but Nesset moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Damme loads up on a big right hand but Nesset slips the punch.
Damme finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Damme throws a nice inside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Damme throws a head kick that misses.
Damme lands with a right hand.
Nesset misses with an uppercut.
Nesset throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nesset takes one to the side of the head.
Nesset looks to land a left hand but Damme moved out of range nicely.
Nesset misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Damme.
Nesset throws out a loose jab but Damme uses good head movement to avoid it.
Damme scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Damme connects with a leg kick. Nesset looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Damme feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Nessets jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nesset drops his hands momentarily and Damme takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Damme.
Damme lands a jab.
Nesset misses with a left hand
and Damme counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nesset is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Damme.
Nesset is breathing heavily.
Nesset swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Damme connects with a body shot.
Damme wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Nesset on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Damme. Damme obviously looking to wear him down.
Nesset takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Damme lands a jab to the nose.
Damme sends Nesset crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Damme is motioning to the referee to let Nesset up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Nesset is rocked!
Damme circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Nesset tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Damme wins by KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Van Damme!
