Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Cesar Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by I'm LEGEND. David Miller will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Paulo Cesar Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, David Miller!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Fedor Mirinova and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva gets cracked there but stands up to it.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Silva.
Miller displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Silva.
Miller jabs at Silva's body.

Silva closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Miller did well to prevent Silva getting side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Miller moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Silva wants to pass the guard but Miller is keeping the position.
Miller is trying to keep Silva in close.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Silva accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Silva stands up over Miller, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Miller is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Silva might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Miller wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Silva is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Silva has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Miller pulls Silva in close to prevent any damage.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Miller connects with a crisp jab.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Miller looks to land a combination but Silva avoids it well.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Miller as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paulo Cesar Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Miller rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silva moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Miller tries to clinch up but Silva circles away and keeps his distance.
Silva walks into a left hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Miller!


It looks like Paulo Cesar Silva has been cut.
David Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Miller moves into range and clinches up with Silva.
Miller misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Silva.
Miller tries a body shot but Silva blocks it.
Miller misses with a knee to the head.
Miller tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Silva avoids it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Miller breaks the clinch.
Miller lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Miller connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Silva closes this distance looking for a takedown but Miller circles away.
Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Miller's waist but Miller gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.

Miller drops Silva with a nice combination! Miller dives into Silva's guard, looking to finish!


Silva is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Miller passes into half guard.
Oh Silva is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Miller lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Silva quite badly. Silva pulls Miller in close trying to recover. Miller postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Silva on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Silva doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David Miller!
