Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vasily Zaitsev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georges St Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zaitsev comes into the arena with Potap blaring out of the sound system. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaitsev clinches with his opponent.
Zaitsev gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, St Pierre regains guard.
St Pierre looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Zaitsev postures up.
St Pierre has an active guard here but Zaitsev has managed to pass into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Zaitsev is nestled in close to St Pierre, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Zaitsev working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
St Pierre trying to hold on to Zaitsev's head to control him but Zaitsev postures up.
Zaitsev is just content to waste time from the top position. St Pierre takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
St Pierre looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Zaitsev knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for St Pierre on the ground.
St Pierre throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Zaitsev trying to control the position from guard on top but St Pierre is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

St Pierre has momentary wrist control but Zaitsev slips an elbow through the middle.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
St Pierre has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Zaitsev doesn't defend quickly enough and St Pierre has managed to lock this one up! Can Zaitsev escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to St Pierre on a fantastic submission victory.
