The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kick displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Silva throws out the jab.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Silva. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Kick closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

and Kick counters with a body kick that stops Silva in his tracks momentarily.

Kick thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Silva if he has to take too many more of those.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Silva crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kick - the referee stops the clock and Silva gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kick. Silva manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Silva will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Silva steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Kick. That one must have hurt.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kick can do anything to dispel that myth.
