Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gotta Itch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe Doe looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gotta Itch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Doe!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Damien Edna and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doe has his takedown stuffed
and Itch decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Doe's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Doe throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Itch has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Itch engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Itch stands and steps away. Doe gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Doe shoots in but Itch avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Itch throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Doe tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Itch is in Doe's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Doe can't keep his opponent in guard - Itch advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Itch looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Doe with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Doe looks winded!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Itch tries to stand and escape but Doe is controlling the position.
Well, if Itch is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Itch seems to be looking for submissions.
Itch controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Itch is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Doe is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Gotta Itch!
