Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anders Bergh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurt Tebo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bergh's entrance music is Vision of disorder, living to die. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Anders Bergh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Kurt Tebo!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tebo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bergh was covering up waiting for the punch and Tebo finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Bergh is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Bergh is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Bergh tries for a takedown but Tebo manages to get underhooks.

Bergh gets control of Tebo's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bergh will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fight stays on the outside here - Tebo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Tebo enables Bergh to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Tebo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Bergh controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Bergh tries to free his leg and advance position but Tebo is retaining full guard.
Bergh loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bergh stands and steps away. Tebo gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Tebo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bergh doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tebo.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Anders Bergh will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Bergh dives in and grabs Tebo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tebo pushes down on Bergh's head and hops out.

Tebo closes the distance and clinches up with Bergh, looking for a takedown. Tebo pushes Bergh against the cage but Bergh circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Bergh gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Tebo to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Bergh had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Tebo defends it easily.

Tebo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bergh has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tebo has managed to get both his arms back between Bergh's legs - danger averted.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
