VanSchool's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Better Than You by Metallica. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rector shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as VanSchool sprawls well. VanSchool wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rector gets slowly back to his feet.

VanSchool scores with a head kick.
The fighters circling - VanSchool throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
VanSchool throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Rector takes a kick to the side of the head.
VanSchool misses with a body kick.
VanSchool takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
VanSchool lands with a nice combination. Rector backs away looking to recover.
A low kick from VanSchool is predictable there

and Rector counters with a nice right hand that sends VanSchool toppling to the canvas! VanSchool scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Rector finish him?!

Rector moves into the clinch.
Oh VanSchool is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Rector's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
VanSchool tries to clinch up but Rector circles away and keeps his distance.
VanSchool misses with a shot to the body

and Rector changes levels and lands a brilliant counter slam that knocks VanSchool senseless! The eyes are open but nobody's home! Rector is victorious and celebrates with his fans in the crowd. Congratulations that man!
