Machida stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Machida wants it to stay on the feet.

and Machida counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nogueira swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Machida counters with a good, hard body kick but Nogueira shrugs it off.

Horrible takedown by Nogueira or perhaps it was just good defense by Machida which made him look bad.

Nogueira shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Machida but Machida pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Machida counters with a huge head kick that drops Nogueira! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!
