The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Tolonen misses the target.
Emelianenko thows a left - swing and a miss!
Emelianenko tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tolonen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Emelianenko somewhat.
Emelianenko tests Tolonen's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Emelianenko throws a body punch but Tolonen moves out of range.

It looks like Fedor Emelianenko has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tolonen has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Tolonen there as he acknowledges the shot.

Tauno Tolonen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tolonen slaps away a takedown attempt from Emelianenko, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Some wild striking there from Tolonen.
Tolonen ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Tolonen drops Emelianenko with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Emelianenko looks back up at him and smiles so Tolonen waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Emelianenko is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nice defenses there by Tolonen.
Tolonen throws a right hand that Emelianenko ducks under and follows up with a left that Emelianenko also avoids with ease.
Tolonen connects with a combination that backs up Emelianenko into the cage. Tolonen lands a flurry of punches that gets past Emelianenko's guard. Emelianenko is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Tolonen bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
