Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Jakson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Velasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jakson swinging wildly here.
Velasquez tries to clinch up.
Jakson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Jakson is looking to reverse the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jakson is trying to strike from the bottom but Velasquez has passed into full mount.
Velasquez lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jakson is in all sorts of trouble here.

Velasquez tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Velasquez takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Jakson tries to lock up and control but Velasquez gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Velasquez softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Jakson is out cold! Velasquez jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
