Regan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Blue Suede Shoes kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McPuncherton throws the left hand but Regan avoids the punch easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Regan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Regan moves to clinch but McPuncherton breaks away
and McPuncherton counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

McPuncherton closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
The fighters are pressed against the ropes, as the pace of the fight slows.
McPuncherton lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Regan misses with a knee to the head.

McPuncherton gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Regan throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and McPuncherton cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

McPuncherton pushes Regan away with a front kick.
McPuncherton misses with a head kick.
Jimmy Regan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McPuncherton keeps Regan at a distance using the push kick.
McPuncherton bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Regan's head.

That has opened up Jimmy Regan's cut even more.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Regan takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

McPuncherton connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Regan onto his butt! Regan bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.
