PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Hull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leung Ting (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ting has chosen Carl Douglas - Kung-fu fighting as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hull bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Ting misses with a leg kick.
Hull throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Ting's head.

It looks like Leung Ting has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ting throws a jab when Hull was well out of range.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Hull. Ting shrugs it off though.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Hull, right into the meat.
Hull lands with a kick to the temple. Ting shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Hull throws a body kick that misses.
Hull connects with a leg kick. Ting looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hull fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ting has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Ting has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Hull.

Hull thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Ting if he has to take too many more of those.

Hull lands a big head kick that sends Ting tumbling to the mat! Hull takes a step backwards and waves Ting back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Ting is rocked!

The cut above Leung Ting's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Ting takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Ting is still on wobbly legs! Can Hull finish him?
Hull feints a jab and as Ting dips his head, Hull unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Ting right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Ting falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Hull smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Mike Hull!
Mike Hull bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
