The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaromskis connects with a body shot.
Turk swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Zaromskis counters with a good low kick that Turk was not able to check.
Zaromskis checks a leg kick.
A decent looking cross lands there for Turk.
Zaromskis's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Turk connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Zaromskis scrambles back to his feet.

Martin Zaromskis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Zaromskis has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Zaromskis there as he acknowledges the shot.
Zaromskis is looking to wear down Turk with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

and Turk makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Turk throws a solid leg kick but Zaromskis takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Turk.

Sloppy strikes from Turk. Those never looked like landing.

Turk looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Turk tries to break free but Zaromskis pushes him back against the cage.

Turk breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Zaromskis connects with a leg kick. Turk looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Turk lands a right hook to the body.
Turk's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Turk on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Zaromskis doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Turk scores with a jab to the jaw.
Zaromskis tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

That kick from Zaromskis tenderised Turk's leg. Turk is trying to keep his angry face on.

and Turk counters with a stiff right hand.
Turk throws a leg kick but Zaromskis sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Turk throws a sloppy head kick and Zaromskis moves out of range easily.

Zaromskis walks into a stiff left hand from Turk.

Turk feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Zaromskis sprawling to the canvas! Zaromskis rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Turk finish him?!

Zaromskis is rocked!
Turk takes one to the side of the head.
Oh Zaromskis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Turk throws a jab when Zaromskis was well out of range.
Turk loads up on a big right hand but Zaromskis slips the punch.
Zaromskis seems to have got his legs back now.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

and Turk counters with a crisp right hand that drops Zaromskis! Turk lets Zaromskis back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Turk throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
BOOM! Turk lands a beautiful left hook that drops Zaromskis. Zaromskis tries to recover but Turk is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Zaromskis lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
