Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between jack maidison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blind Phaedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think maidison might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Linkin Park In the End . jack maidison has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
maidison shoots in for a takedown but Phaedo shows good takedown defense.

maidison feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Phaedo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

maidison drops back, looking for a kneebar! Phaedo looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Phaedo looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Phaedo!

maidison wants to control but Phaedo is keeping busy and won't allow it.
maidison tries to roll over but Phaedo keeps him under control.
The fighters are battling for position here. maidison manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

maidison keeping busy on the bottom but Phaedo has passed one foot through into half guard.

maidison is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Phaedo pulls his head out easily.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

maidison trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

maidison is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Phaedo rolls with it to try and escape but maidison cranks on the arm and Phaedo is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
