Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blood Bane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edilson Rubiera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bane comes to the cage accompanied by Bad Blood. Rubiera is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by ratamahatta. The key to victory for Blood Bane has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Edilson Rubiera!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Rubiera.
Rubiera misses with a low kick.
Bane throws a push kick but Rubiera slaps the foot to one side.
Bane misses with a low kick.
Bane will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Rubiera throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Rubiera shoots in and bounces Bane off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Bane has control of Rubiera's left arm, preventing Rubiera from doing any damage.
Rubiera looking to pass the guard.
Rubiera in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Rubiera trying to control but Bane is working from the bottom.
Rubiera tries to free his leg and advance position but Bane is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bane looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Rubiera wants to pass the guard but Bane is keeping the position.
Bane controls Rubiera momentarily but Rubiera frees himself.
Rubiera tries to free his leg and advance position but Bane is retaining full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Rubiera misses with a low kick.
Bane throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Rubiera stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bane.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bane stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

It looks like Edilson Rubiera has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bane lands a jab to the nose.
Bane misses with a low kick.
Rubiera fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bane avoids it really well and circles away.
Rubiera misses with a body shot.
Rubiera walks into a jab.
Blood Bane is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bane misses with a low kick.
Bane dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Rubiera. That did some damage!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Bane - that will leave a mark!
Rubiera looks winded!
Rubiera drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

That has opened up Edilson Rubiera's cut even more.
Bane lets loose with a powerful body kick. Rubiera will feel that in the morning.
Bane lands with a thumping leg kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bane cracks Rubiera on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Rubiera falls backwards against the cage. Bane follows up with more strikes that drop Rubiera to his knees. Bane keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Rubiera! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Blood Bane!
