Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergio Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacques Offembach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesnar's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Avicii - Fade Into Darkness. Offembach has chosen System Of A Down - Chop Suey! as his entrance music. Sergio Lesnar has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jacques Offembach!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Seu Braga and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Offembach's head backwards.
Lesnar jabs Offembach right on the nose. Offembach blinks but takes it well.
Lesnar fails to land the takedown.
Lesnar connects with a single shot there.
Lesnar does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Offembach throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lesnar works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Offembach throws an elbow that misses. Lesnar uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Offembach's guard. Nice move by Lesnar!
Offembach is pulling down on Lesnar's head. It's preventing any offense from Lesnar, at least for the moment.

Good leg kick by Lesnar there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

The fighters circle momentarily. Lesnar darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Offembach tries to kick Lesnar off but Lesnar keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Lesnar wants to work for an arm triangle but Offembach is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Offembach flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Lesnar will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Still in half guard, Lesnar seems content to control.

Offembach might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Lesnar haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Lesnar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jacques Offembach was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Lesnar lands a nice hook to Offembach's body. Offembach takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Lesnar shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Offembach sprawls well. Offembach wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lesnar gets slowly back to his feet.

Offembach slaps away a takedown attempt from Lesnar, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Offembach is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Offembach has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Lesnar.

Lesnar is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lesnar, as that shot connected.

Offembach has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Lesnar.
