The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Palhares ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Palhares no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Palhares uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Palhares fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mannelly has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
