Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tomas Eriksson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Rotch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rotch throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rotch moves into range and connects with a jab.

It looks like Tomas Eriksson has been cut.
Rotch throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rotch rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Eriksson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Eriksson fails with a takedown attempt.
Eriksson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rotch tries to avoid it but Eriksson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rotch to the ground. Rotch escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Rotch throws a right hand that Eriksson ducks under and follows up with a left that Eriksson also avoids with ease.
Nice takedown defense from Rotch. No joy for Eriksson on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tomas Eriksson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rotch will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rotch slaps away a takedown attempt from Eriksson, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Rotch fails to land with a series of punches.
Rotch misses with a double jab.
Eriksson fails to land the takedown.
Eriksson wants to clinch up but Rotch keeps it at a distance.
Eriksson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rotch as he jumps to the side.
Rotch lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Mike Rotch is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rotch swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rotch lands a glancing blow to the side of Eriksson's head.

Rotch moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Rotch throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Oh Eriksson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rotch drops Eriksson with a huge uppercut! Eriksson drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Rotch is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
