The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boxer tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Bam counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Boxer looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Boxer looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Bam gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Boxer regains guard.

Bam gets to his feet - Boxer follows without any prompting.
Boxer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Boxer gets caught napping as Bam dives in and scores a takedown. Boxer manages to retain guard.
Boxer can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bam controls the pace.
Boxer can't keep his opponent in guard - Bam advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bam passes to side control.
Bam just content to control the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bam is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Boxer is trying to escape and Bam transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Boxer is forced to tap! Nice work there by Bam! Very nice indeed!
