Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Chaney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Carioca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ivan Chaney!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paulo Carioca!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Seu Braga and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chaney misses with a body kick.

Chaney closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Carioca quickly recovers to half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Chaney looks to land a strike but Carioca avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Chaney throws a big right hand that misses.
Carioca not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Chaney is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Carioca is pulling down on Chaney's head to control his posture.
Chaney slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chaney is fighting to break Carioca's control of his arms but Carioca is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Paulo Carioca.
Carioca bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Ivan Chaney seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Carioca tries a head kick but it misses.
Chaney misses with a hook. Carioca ducked under it nicely.
Chaney slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Carioca's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Carioca duly obliges.
Chaney misses with a straight right.
Carioca walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Chaney takes a swing at Carioca's ribcage but misses.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Chaney crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Carioca - the referee stops the clock and Chaney gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Carioca. Chaney manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Chaney throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Chaney tests Carioca's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Carioca scores with a head kick. Chaney tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

It looks like Ivan Chaney has been cut.
Paulo Carioca is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Carioca checks the leg kick nicely there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Carioca cracks Chaney with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Chaney looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Carioca finish him?

Chaney is rocked!
Chaney drops his hands momentarily and Carioca needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Chaney just on the top of the head. Chaney drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Chaney - he's done!
