Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between War Tank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamarcus Winters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Winters's choice of entrance music: The Verve - Bitter Sweet Symphony. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jamarcus Winters was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jamarcus Winters!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Mauricio Rocha and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winters throws a nice outside leg kick.
Tank keeps the fight on the outside.
Tank shoots in for a takedown but Winters shows good takedown defense.
Tank staying out of range there.
Jamarcus Winters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Winters lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.


It looks like War Tank has been cut.
Tank fails to land the takedown.
Winters thuds a left hand into Tank's body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Winters stuffs the takedown attempt from Tank. Tank gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for War Tank. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Winters cracks Tank with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Tank will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Tank slips a jab and a cross from Winters.

Tank tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Winters swivels and escapes.

Tank moves forwards but Winters connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Winters stuffs the takedown attempt from Tank. Tank gets slowly back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nice uppercut there from Winters.
A head kick misses from Winters.
Winters tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tank swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Winters keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Winters fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Winters tries to clinch but Tank is having none of it.

Winters fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tank, pushing him back against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Winters blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Tank wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Tank. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Tank fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Winters working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.


War Tank's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Tank breaks the clinch.
Winters scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Winters gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Tank to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Tank trying to control the position from guard on top but Winters is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Tank is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Tank stopping the sweep attempt from Winters.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tank postures up in Winters's guard and throws a big left but Winters blocks it.
Winters trying to control the position.
Tank being controlled here momentarily.
Winters manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Tank wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Winters tries to control but Tank wriggling away.
Tank on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tank tries to get out of the position.
Tank is trying to stand up.
Winters tries to control but Tank wriggling away.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Tank avoids a series of strikes thrown by Winters.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Tank wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Winters wants to control the pace but Tank is squirming around nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jamarcus Winters dominated that round.
The cut man is working on War Tank's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Tank shoots in for a takedown but Winters shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Winters throws a body punch but Tank moves out of range.
Tank ducks under a wild hook from Winters.
Winters throws out a powerful jab.
Winters moves in looking to clinch but Tank pushes him off.
Tank takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Winters throws a one two combo.
Horrible takedown by Tank or perhaps it was just good defense by Winters which made him look bad.
Winters tries to clinch but Tank moves out of range.
No luck for Tank with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for War Tank. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Winters misses with a few strikes there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tank tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Winters swivels and escapes.
Tank misses with a takedown attempt - Winters sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nice shot lands for Winters.
Tank has a takedown stuffed.
Winters lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Nice sprawl there from Winters as Tank shoots in.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Winters tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Tank manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Tank fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Winters lands with a short head shot on the inside.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tank blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Winters breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Tank fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Winters thows a body kick. Tank tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Tank tries for a takedown but Winters sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Winters scores with a jab to the jaw.


Jeez, War Tank's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at War Tank's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Jamarcus Winters!
During a confident post fight interview, Jamarcus Winters thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
