Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Rowan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Inspectah Gadget (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rowan comes to the cage accompanied by Anthrax - I Am The Law. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gadget ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rowan moves away.
Gadget tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rowan was well out of range. Poor timing from Gadget.
Rowan misses with a kick to the body
and Gadget counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Rowan thinking.
Rowan throws a leg kick but Gadget sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Gadget attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Gadget ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rowan moves away.
Gadget swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Gadget lands with a nice body kick.
Rowan walks forward, straight into a front kick from Gadget.
Gadget jabs Rowan right on the nose. Rowan blinks but takes it well.
Gadget with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Gadget wants to land a leg kick but Rowan is out of range.
Gadget throws the left hand but Rowan avoids the punch easily.

Inspectah Gadget seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gadget stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Rowan moves in looking to clinch but Gadget pushes him off.
Rowan needs to keep his hands up - Gadget had a free shot at his head there.
Gadget misses the shot to the body.
Rowan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gadget manages to avoid it.
Nice defenses there by Gadget.

Rowan tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gadget smiles and moves away.

Rowan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Inspectah Gadget is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rowan with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gadget to score with a decent uppercut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gadget connects with a body shot that sends Rowan's belly button to the back.
Rowan is looking to clinch but Gadget is avoiding it.

Rowan walks into a stiff left hand from Gadget.

Gadget connects with a crisp jab.
Rowan tries for a takedown but Gadget sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Gadget moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Rowan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gadget.
Gadget stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gadget wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Samuel Rowan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gadget does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Rowan moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gadget throws a lazy uppercut
letting Rowan counter with a right hand.
Gadget fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rowan.

Gadget throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rowan ducks right into an uppercut from Gadget.
Rowan just misses with a punch to the body.
Gadget displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rowan.
Rowan takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Gadget connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Gadget bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Gadget staying out of range there.
Gadget just misses with a punch to the body.
A decent looking cross lands there for Gadget.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rowan chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gadget can pounce on him.

Gadget throws a poor cross that misses
and Rowan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rowan lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Inspectah Gadget dominated that round.
That's time! Rowan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Rowan throws out a loose jab but Gadget uses good head movement to avoid it.
The crowd cheers as Gadget lands an impressive looking overhand right. Rowan doesn't seem phased though.
Rowan throws a leg kick that misses.
Inspectah Gadget seems to be getting the better of the standup.
An inside leg kick from Rowan misses.
Gadget fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Rowan is out of range.
Gadget pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Rowan takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Rowan looks to land a right hand but Gadget moved out of range.
Rowan will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Gadget moves into range and connects with a jab.

Rowan takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Rowan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rowan looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Gadget scores with a jab.
Rowan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Gadget connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Rowan scrambles back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rowan is rocked!
Gadget closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Rowan! Gadget dives in looking to finish! Rowan is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
