The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conte thuds his shin into the meat of Dodd's side.
Dodd pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Dodd tries to close the distance and clinch but Conte swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Conte steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dodd.
Conte thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Dodd if he has to take too many more of those.
Dodd on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Dodd lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Conte backs up against the cage.
Conte connects with a high kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dodd misses with a few strikes there.
Dodd tries to clinch there but Conte circles away.

and Conte counters with a nice low kick that buckles Dodd's knee momentarily.

Dodd tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Conte manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Conte counters with a slapping leg kick.

Conte connects with a right hand. Dodd shakes it off.
Dodd moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Conte with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Dodd moves forwards but Conte connects with a nice, crisp jab.

and Conte counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Benjamin Dodd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Conte fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Dodd has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Dodd's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Conte throws a leg kick which misses Dodd's front leg but catches the back leg as Dodd tries to avoid it.
Conte swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dodd.

and Conte counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Conte scores with a head kick. Dodd tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Conte is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Conte changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Conte throws a monster overhand right that drops Dodd! Conte follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
