The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grepp ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Grepp throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Masatupo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Grepp manages to avoid it.
Inge Grepp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Grepp scoring well with a low kick there.
Masatupo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Grepp misses with a straight left.
Grepp turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Grepp throws a solid leg kick but Masatupo takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Grepp.
Grepp ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Masatupo moves away.
Grepp connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Masatupo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Grepp's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Grepp looking to hit a scissor sweep but Masatupo is one step ahead there.

Masatupo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Grepp manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Masatupo has Grepp in his guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
