Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Mein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Red!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Red throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mein's waist but Mein gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Red off to one side.
Mein swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mein scores with a three punch combo!
Mein scores with a nice strike.
Nice defenses there by Mein.
Mein looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mein connects with a nice looking jab.
Mein throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.


It looks like Jack Red has been cut.
Mein lands a glancing blow to the side of Red's head.
Red should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Mein, as that shot connected.
Mein cracks Red with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Mein connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Red's hands.
Mein swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Red shoots in and drives through. Mein sprawls well.
Red wants to clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Donk. Mein catches Red right on the button with a cross.
Mein throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Red.
Horrible takedown by Red or perhaps it was just good defense by Mein which made him look bad.
Mike Mein has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Red.
Mein clobbers Red with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.


Red is rocked!
Red blocks a jab.
Red shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mein defends it nicely.
Red shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mein sprawls well. Mein wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Red gets slowly back to his feet.
Red looks winded!
Mein walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Red drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Mein swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Red's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Mein!
In his post fight interview, Mike Mein started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
