Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lars Voller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Kruger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Kruger's choice of entrance music: Tnt. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Voller swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kruger clobbers Voller with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Voller leaves Kruger with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Kruger connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Kruger misses with a hook.
Voller throws a head kick that misses.
John Kruger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kruger swings for the body but Voller moves out of range.

Kruger throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Voller stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Kruger shoots in looking for a takedown but Voller manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kruger's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Kruger fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Voller to the ground. Kruger is now in Voller's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kruger cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Kruger rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Voller counters with a good low kick that Kruger was not able to check.
Voller feints and then cracks Kruger's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kruger down.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Voller.

Voller pushes Kruger up against the cage in a clinch.

Voller pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kruger shoots in looking for a takedown. Voller tries to sprawl out of it but Kruger keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Voller manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Voller drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kruger manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Voller has Kruger in his guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kruger accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kruger stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Voller swivels though and keeps the full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kruger lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Voller has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Voller and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Kruger. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Voller! Kruger is out on his feet! Voller rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Kruger is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Kruger is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Lars Voller really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Modern Gladiators Clothes (only $10) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
