Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Honey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hadley Jagger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Honey might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Cruising in Miami by Bass 305. Hugh Honey could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Hadley Jagger's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Honey misses with a hook.
Honey uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jagger.
Jagger just misses with a punch to the body.
Honey connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Honey lunges at Jagger with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jagger's hand.
Jagger avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Jagger cracks Honey with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Jagger misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Honey avoids the head kick by Jagger.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jagger chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Honey can pounce on him.

Honey feints and then cracks Jagger's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jagger down.

Jagger lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Hadley Jagger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jagger connects with a leg kick. Honey looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Jagger throws a looping overhand right but Honey ducks down to avoid it.

Honey throws a low kick but it's checked well by Jagger.

Jagger closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Honey's guard.

Jagger wants to pass the guard but Honey is keeping the position.

Honey tries to roll over but Jagger keeps him under control.
Jagger perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Honey is looking for a sweep. Jagger is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Jagger is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Honey might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Honey is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Jagger stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Honey swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Honey controls Jagger momentarily but Jagger frees himself.

Jagger has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jagger lands a head kick. Honey smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Jagger throws a left and a right that both miss
and Honey counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Honey moves out of range as Jagger throws a body kick.

Jagger will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Honey motions for Jagger to come forward. Honey throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Jagger will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
