Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Juan Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adaru Kitano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jones might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Go to Sleep. Kitano is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Arch Enemy - We Will Rise . The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Jones.
Jones throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jones swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A head kick misses from Jones.
Jones throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Jones throws a series of punches but Kitano moves out of range.
Kitano avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jones thuds his right hand into Kitano's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Jones misses with a few strikes there.

Jones tries to bum rush Kitano with a series of wild strikes but Kitano uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kitano keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jones.

Juan Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones throws a right and a left that Kitano avoids nicely.
Kitano misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kitano throws a body punch but Jones moves out of range.
Jones throws a combination that misses
and Kitano counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Kitano wants to pass the guard but Jones is keeping the position.
Kitano passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Kitano tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Kitano wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jones, who protects the arm well.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kitano is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Jones is trying to escape and Kitano transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Jones is forced to tap! Nice work there by Kitano! Very nice indeed!
