Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruiser Halperin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocco Lampone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Halperin comes to the cage accompanied by Somewhere Over the Rainbow. The key to victory for Bruiser Halperin has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Halperin forces Lampone back against the cage and clinches.
Halperin lands a nice knee to the body.
Lampone jumps guard but Halperin stands there with Lampone around his waist. Lampone gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Lampone has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Halperin avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Bruiser Halperin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocco Lampone.
Halperin comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Lampone tries to score a body lock takedown but Halperin shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Lampone changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Halperin fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Halperin throws a head kick that misses.

Halperin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lampone, pushing him back against the cage.
Lampone is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Lampone has Halperin pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Halperin manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Lampone is pressed against the cage. Halperin pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Lampone! Two more big strikes from Halperin and Lampone crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
