Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cesar Dominguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Octavio Bernardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dominguez's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Unforgiven by MetallicA. Bernardo has chosen Killing Me Softly ( 1973 ) as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dominguez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bernardo swivels and escapes.
Dominguez dives in and grabs Bernardo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bernardo pushes down on Dominguez's head and hops out.

Bernardo drives through and clinches with Dominguez against the cage.

Bernardo breaks from the clinch.
Dominguez gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Bernardo.
Bernardo goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Dominguez shoots in but Bernardo avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cesar Dominguez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bernardo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dominguez takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Bernardo leaves Dominguez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dominguez ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dominguez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bernardo sprawls well. Bernardo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dominguez gets slowly back to his feet.
A left and a right from Bernardo both land. Nice combination.

Dominguez takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Dominguez takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Bernardo scores with a jab.
Dominguez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bernardo as he jumps to the side.

Bernardo scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Dominguez is breathing heavily.
Dominguez shoots in but Bernardo avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Dominguez tries to move into range but Bernardo moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bernardo stuffs the takedown.

Bernardo pushes Dominguez up against the cage in a clinch.

Bernardo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A lazy left from Bernardo finds it's target.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Dominguez. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Dominguez drops his hands momentarily. Bernardo doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Dominguez staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Dominguez doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
