Springs lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

and Silva counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Springs is looking to stand back up but Silva counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Springs.

Springs's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Springs is trying to stand but he's just given Silva his back.

Silva has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Springs is in real trouble here. Silva gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Springs is tapping out! Silva wins by rear naked choke!
