The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Bunga.
Comblin tries to clinch up
and Bunga counters with a stiff right hand.
Comblin throws a head kick that misses
and Bunga counters with a series of strikes. Comblin will be more careful next time no doubt.
Comblin moves to clinch but Bunga breaks away
and Bunga counters with a thumping low kick.
Bunga circles away from the clinch attempt

Comblin darts in trying to clinch
and Bunga makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Lee Comblin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bunga cracks the inside of Comblin's front leg.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bunga cracks Comblin with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Comblin wants to clinch but Bunga slips to the side
and Bunga counters with a slapping leg kick.
Comblin closes the distance looking to clinch
and Bunga counters with a three punch combo that has Comblin backing up. Comblin nods at Bunga to acknowledge the strikes.
Comblin is rocked!
Bunga lands a nice leg kick that just misses Comblin's sensitive parts.
Bunga feints a jab promting Comblin to slip. Bunga then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Comblin slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Comblin is still on wobbly legs! Can Bunga finish him?
Bunga throws a nice inside leg kick.
Bunga circles away from the clinch attempt
and Bunga makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bunga connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Comblin tumbling to the canvas! Bunga pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Comblin was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ralph Bunga!
