The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dzagoev misses with a kick to the body.
A bone on bone clash there as Christodoulou blocks the leg kick.
Dzagoev tries to clinch up but Christodoulou circles away and keeps his distance.
Christodoulou tries to bum rush Dzagoev with a series of wild strikes but Dzagoev uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Dzagoev connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Christodoulou momentarily.
Alan Dzagoev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Christodoulou displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dzagoev throws out the jab.

Dzagoev tests Christodoulou's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Christodoulou is rocked!
Dzagoev cracks Christodoulou on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Christodoulou falls backwards against the cage. Dzagoev follows up with more strikes that drop Christodoulou to his knees. Dzagoev keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Christodoulou! This one is all over!
