Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stoneface McGillicutty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davey Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGillicutty comes to the cage accompanied by "I'm Shipping Up To Boston" by The Dropkick Murphys. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Steve Montenegro and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGillicutty steps into range and cracks Williams with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Williams flops backwards and McGillicutty dives into his guard looking to finish!
Williams is rocked!
Williams pulls McGillicutty in close to his closed guard and prevents McGillicutty from doing any damage or advancing position.
Williams is still in real trouble! Can McGillicutty finish him?
Williams is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Williams has his hands on McGillicutty's head, controlling the position.
Williams seems to have recovered his senses.
Williams wants to stand up but McGillicutty is controlling him.

Williams working a defensive guard but McGillicutty manages to pass into side control anyway.
McGillicutty trying to control the position but Williams is working away.
McGillicutty scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Williams to see if he's OK.

Williams is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but McGillicutty has just dragged him back down to the mat.
McGillicutty lands an elbow.
McGillicutty wants to control for a moment but Williams uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
McGillicutty manages to get to full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Williams looking to pass the guard.
Williams trying to control but McGillicutty is working from the bottom.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now McGillicutty is on top in guard.
Williams manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Williams closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Williams avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
McGillicutty misses with a looping left.
Williams throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Williams is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McGillicutty.
Left hook, right uppercut from Williams.
McGillicutty lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
McGillicutty throws a push kick but Williams slaps the foot to one side.
McGillicutty cracks Williams with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Williams drops his hands momentarily. McGillicutty doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Williams staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Williams doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Stoneface McGillicutty!
