Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Corneo Stilztkin!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pikku Kakkipylly!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stilztkin chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kakkipylly can pounce on him.
Kakkipylly wants to clinch up but Stilztkin keeps it at a distance.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kakkipylly enables Stilztkin to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kakkipylly manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Kakkipylly wants to sweep but no luck.
Stilztkin prevents Kakkipylly from getting back to his feet.
Stilztkin content to stall in guard here.

Stilztkin trying to control the position from guard on top but Kakkipylly is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Stilztkin misses with a takedown attempt - Kakkipylly sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kakkipylly looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Stilztkin throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Kakkipylly wants to clinch.
Stilztkin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kakkipylly swivels and escapes.
Kakkipylly throws a nice head kick!

Kakkipylly misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kakkipylly tries to close the distance and clinch but Stilztkin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kakkipylly attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kakkipylly looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Stilztkin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kakkipylly tries to clinch but Stilztkin is having none of it.

Stilztkin scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Stilztkin looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Kakkipylly holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Stilztkin tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kakkipylly is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The referee warns Kakkipylly that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Stilztkin postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Kakkipylly badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Stilztkin around the waist but Stilztkin pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Stilztkin is the winner by TKO! Stilztkin jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Corneo Stilztkin!

Corneo Stilztkin really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that STEEL PENN'S 160 OF STEEL $50 Rio logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
