The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lurppa connects with a jab.

It looks like Mago Tenorio has been cut.
Lurppa loads up on a big right hand but Tenorio slips the punch.
Lurppa shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tenorio pinned against the cage. Tenorio gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lurppa misses with a right hand

and Tenorio counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Tenorio is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Lurppa has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tenorio can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Tenorio drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lurppa looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lurppa looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lurppa!
Tenorio is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Tenorio has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Lurppa. Oh but Tenorio has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Lurppa goes limp - he's gone! Tenorio jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

A very excited looking Mago Tenorio rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
