PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bin Laden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benny Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bin Laden had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Benny Drake enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Drake closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Laden did well to prevent Drake getting side control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Ground and pound from Drake.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Drake lands a nice short elbow.
Laden tries to get to full guard but Drake has control of the leg.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Drake connects with a nice short shot to Laden's temple.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Drake slips a nice elbow through Laden's hands, connecting with Laden's forehead.
Drake winds up and cracks Laden with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Drake thows a huge punch but Laden dodges it nicely.
Oh Laden is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Laden seems to have got his legs back now.
Drake takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The fighters are battling for position here. Laden manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Drake throws a big elbow that misses.
Drake postures up and lands a big shot to Laden's brow.
Drake wants to stand but Laden has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Drake cracks Laden with a big elbow.

The crowd goes nuts as Drake knocks Laden out cold with a massive hammerfist! Drake Jumps to his feet and climbs on top of the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
