Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Pasadinho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Stroud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pasadinho's entrance music is Foo Fighters - My Hero. A fine choice. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Pasadinho looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Pasadinho gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Stroud postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Pasadinho is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Stroud, into his guard.

Stroud has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Pasadinho is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Stroud.

Stroud is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Pasadinho defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

I looks like Stroud might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Stroud in particular looking to stall.
Stroud looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pasadinho with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Well Stroud has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
