PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Attero Dominatus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hettie Kate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dominatus might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sabaton - Attero Dominatus. Kate has chosen Peanuts Theme as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kate tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Kate lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dominatus circles away quickly and effectively.
Kate throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Dominatus blocks a head kick by Kate.
Kate throws a head kick that Dominatus semi-blocks.
Kate throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dominatus lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Kate tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kate throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Kate on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Dominatus blocks the body kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kate throws a low kick but it's checked well by Dominatus.

Dominatus gets a clinch.
Kate tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Dominatus avoids it.
Kate missing with knees to the body.

Dominatus has Kate pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Dominatus pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Kate tumbling to the mat - Dominatus dives into Kate's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Kate is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dominatus is controlling him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dominatus advances to half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kate can do anything to dispel that myth.
Dominatus is keen to just control but Kate is a slippery customer.

Dominatus is trying for a kimura here. Kate looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Dominatus wins by kimura!

Attero Dominatus decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
