Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Barack Angle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ville Laitinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Barack Angle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ville Laitinen!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laitinen moves into range and connects with a jab.


It looks like Barack Angle has been cut.
Laitinen lands a nice shot to the body.
Laitinen throws a jab but it's blocked by Angle.

Angle shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Laitinen's guard.
Angle wanted to stand there but Laitinen had control of the position.
Laitinen looking to control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Angle tries to stand but Laitinen is controlling from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Angle gets to his feet. Laitinen looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
A combination from Laitinen does no damage.
Laitinen scores with a hook to the body. Angle takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Angle throws a jab when Laitinen was well out of range.
Laitinen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Angle was well out of range. Poor timing from Laitinen.
A cross from Laitinen lands.
Laitinen throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Laitinen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Angle.
A punch combination from Laitinen misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Laitinen misses with a body shot.
Laitinen throws a nice looking combination but Angle bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Laitinen gets caught napping as Angle dives in and scores a takedown. Laitinen manages to retain guard.
Angle tries to stand but Laitinen is controlling from the bottom.
Laitinen trying to keep a closed guard but Angle is proving a slippery customer.

Angle gets to his feet. Laitinen looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Nice body punch from Laitinen.
Laitinen feints a jab promting Angle to slip. Laitinen then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Angle slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Angle keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Ville Laitinen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Laitinen throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Laitinen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Laitinen jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Laitinen misses with a jab, cross combination.
A looping hook to the body misses from Laitinen. Angle does a little dance to reset his feet.
Laitinen takes a swing at Angle's ribcage but misses.
Laitinen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Laitinen looks to land a combination but Angle avoids it well.
Angle slips a jab and a cross from Laitinen.

Angle bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Laitinen tries to bench press Angle off him but Angle keeps the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Angle decides to stand back up. Angle steps back and let's Laitinen get back to his feet.
Angle avoids the body shot from Laitinen.
Laitinen tries to land a leg kick but Angle saw it coming and moves away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Laitinen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Angle moves away.
Angle shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A right-left combo lands from Laitinen.

Angle bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Angle stands up and beckons Laitinen to his feet.
Laitinen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Angle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ville Laitinen dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Barack Angle's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Laitinen lands a nice shot to the body.
Laitinen scores with a hook to the body. Angle takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Angle closes this distance looking for a takedown but Laitinen circles away.
Laitinen connects with a good right hand that stumbles Angle. Angle circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Laitinen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Angle was well out of range. Poor timing from Laitinen.
Ville Laitinen seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Angle looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Laitinen is fending him off so far but Angle persists. Nope, Laitinen circles away and we're back to standing.
Angle keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nice shot by Laitinen.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ville Laitinen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Laitinen misses with a wild body shot.
Laitinen feints a jab promting Angle to slip. Laitinen then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Angle slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Laitinen lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Angle goes down and covers up as Laitinen starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ville Laitinen!
After the fight, Ville Laitinen was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
