PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cosme Cosme (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Tar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Tar's choice of entrance music: I Come From A Land Down Under. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cosme misses with a body shot.
Cosme has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Cosme there as he acknowledges the shot.
Tar shoots in for a takedown but Cosme shows good takedown defense.
Tar doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Cosme counters with a leg kick.
Tar misses with a straight right.
Cosme bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Cosme dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Tar. That did some damage!
Cosme explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Tar looks winded!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cosme throws a nice outside leg kick.
Cosme jabs at Tar's body.
A head kick misses from Cosme.
Cosme lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Tar steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cosme.
Cosme throws a nice outside leg kick.
Tar slips under a jab from Cosme.
Tar throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Cosme turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Cosme scores with a kick to the body.
Cosme with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Cosme lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Cosme chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Cosme cracks Tar with a good jab.
Cosme lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Tar is fighting off a takedown attempt but Cosme is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Tar to the mat. Tar regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Tar can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Cosme controls the pace.
Cosme slips nicely into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cosme connects with a nice short shot to Tar's temple.

Cosme is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Tar is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
