The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edgar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Brenner will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Edgar turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Edgar manages to end up in side control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Brenner takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Edgar is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Edgar is trying to get an arm triangle but Brenner is defending well.

Brenner wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Edgar has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Brenner's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Brenner is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Edgar!
