Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ralfus Presting (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Kirby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kirby comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Forgot about dre. kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters really staring each other down here, as John Kirby enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John Kirby!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, John Mangel and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kirby gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Presting to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Presting drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Presting jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Kirby controls Presting momentarily but Presting frees himself.
Presting lands a couple of elbows.
Presting has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Presting drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kirby looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kirby looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kirby!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Presting shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kirby's guard.

Presting is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kirby is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kirby has escaped and now he's on top!

Presting has his foot on Kirby's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kirby works his way back into a safe position though.

Kirby wants to get up but he can't break Presting's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Kirby slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Presting has his feet on Kirby's thighs here. He's pushed Kirby off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Kirby screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
