The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Catherins fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Zapelini, pushing him back against the cage.

Catherins breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Zapelini avoids a punch combination nicely.
Catherins shoots in looking for a takedown but Zapelini manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Catherins's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Zapelini closes this distance looking for a takedown but Catherins circles away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Catherins. Zapelini does a little dance to reset his feet.
