The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab from Lindland.
Lindland connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Lindland keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lindland with a hook.
Monkey misses with a wild body shot.
Lindland takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Monkey swings for the body but Lindland moves out of range.
Monkey misses with a lunging right hand
and Lindland counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lindland gets tackled into the cage by Monkey. Monkey maintains the clinch.
Monkey fails to pull guard.
Monkey jumps guard but Lindland turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

A frustrated look appears on Lindland's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Monkey jumps guard but Lindland stands there with Monkey around his waist. Monkey gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Luiz Lindland has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Camel Monkey.
Monkey tries to pull guard but Lindland won't allow it.
Monkey fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Monkey tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lindland smiles and moves away.

Monkey tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lindland was well out of range. Poor timing from Monkey.
Camel Monkey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Monkey closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lindland circles away.
Monkey moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Lindland lands a jab to the nose.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Monkey darts in and clinches Lindland up against the cage.
Monkey is trying to pull guard but Lindland turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Monkey goes for a takedown attempt but Lindland pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Monkey throws a leg kick

and Lindland counters with a crisp one two that drops Monkey! Lindland thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Monkey to his feet! Monkey is in big trouble!
A low kick from Monkey is predictable there
and Lindland counters with a left right combination that sends Monkey crashing to the mat - Lindland wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Monkey out for a TKO! Devastating finish!
