Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doncarlo Giani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sonny Moony (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moony has chosen God Don't Like It [And I Don't Either] as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moony misses with a wild combination.
Giani fails with the takedown.
Moony throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Giani looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Moony looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Moony wants to sweep but no luck.

The fighters circling - Moony throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Giani shoots in and drives through. Moony sprawls well.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Giani is defended easily by Moony.

Giani is breathing heavily.

Moony lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Giani circles away quickly and effectively.

Giani shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Moony manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Moony working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Giani doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Giani manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Moony is looking for a triangle but Giani pushes his legs off easily.

Giani decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Moony, up you get!
Moony looks to throw the jab but Giani is out of range.

Moony tries to land a front kick but Giani steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Giani tries to close the distance and clinch up but Moony swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Giani moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Moony swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Giani walks into a left hand.
Giani takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Moony lands a right hook to the body.
Moony throws a right and a left that Giani avoids nicely.
Moony throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Giani sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Moony slaps away a takedown attempt from Giani, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Moony scores with a jab to the jaw.

Giani closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Moony did well to prevent Giani getting side control.
