Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Vanderr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan Todd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jonathan Paton and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vanderr fails in his attempt to clinch.
Vanderr tries to sprawl but Todd drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Todd stops Vanderr from getting back to his feet.
Vanderr wants to control but Todd is keeping busy.
Todd is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Vanderr defends it well.

Todd is working for a submission of some sort.
Todd is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Vanderr doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Todd.

Todd is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Vanderr is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Vanderr has escaped and now he's on top!

A close round but Dylan Todd will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Todd closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Vanderr has a couple of punches blocked by Todd.
Vanderr has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Todd after a bit of a struggle.

Vanderr throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Todd tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Vanderr is in Todd's guard.

Vanderr stands up and beckons Todd to join him on the feet.

Vanderr throws a left and a right that both miss
and Todd counters with a nice low kick that buckles Vanderr's knee momentarily.
Vanderr closes this distance looking for a takedown but Todd circles away.
Todd shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Vanderr manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Todd drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Todd jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Vanderr is looking to sinch up a triangle. Todd throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Vanderr's body to avoid the submission. Vanderr has instead reached around Todd's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Vanderr arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
