Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Jon Hess (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keoni Kain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hess comes to the ring accompanied by Curl Of The Burl. Jon Hess has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kain tries to clinch but Hess moves out of range.
Hess uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kain.
Kain takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hess.
Hess looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Kain will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Kain misses with a head kick.
A cross from Kain lands.

It looks like Jon Hess has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kain works Hess's body with a nice hook.
Kain throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kain lands with an uppercut that bounces Hess off the ropes and back into range.
A bone on bone clash there as Kain blocks the leg kick.
The crowd cheers as Kain lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hess doesn't seem phased though.
Hess cracks Kain with a good jab.
Kain misses with a kick to the body.
Kain throws out a powerful jab.
Hess misses the body punch
and Kain counters with an inside leg kick.
Hess lands with a kick to the ribs.
Keoni Kain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kain thumps Hess with a low kick.
Some bone on bone action there as Kain checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Hess swats away the attempt to clinch by Kain.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kain with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Kain takes a swing at Hess's ribcage but misses.
Hess catches Kain with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Hess punishes Kain's body with a nice straight punch.
Kain wants to clinch up but Hess keeps it at a distance.
Hess avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hess darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Good leg kick by Hess there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kain lands a nice looking body shot.
Hess goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Hess scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kain in his tracks.
Kain throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nice defenses there by Hess.
Hess throws a body kick that misses.
Hess tries to work over Kain's front leg with a kick but Kain checks it.
Hess throws a jab but it's blocked by Kain.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kain fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hess manages to avoid it.
Hess tries to land a front kick but Kain steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Hess blocks a head kick by Kain.
Hess lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Kain takes one on the button.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Hess takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Kain slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Kain is looking to land body kicks.
Hess ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kain moves away.
Kain tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Hess manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kain thows a body shot but no joy.
Kain misses with a body shot.
Kain has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kain there as he acknowledges the shot.

It looks like Keoni Kain has been cut.
Kain throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hess is looking to land body kicks.
Kain avoids the body shot from Hess.
Hess catches Kain napping and connects with a fantastic 3 punch combination that sends Kain crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but he's all over the place - can he beat the count?!? 4,5,6,7,8...9...10! He didn't make it back to his feet! Hess raises both arms skywards and takes in the roar from the crowd!
